Description
Free Range Berkshire Smoked Streaky Bacon is produced from pure bred pedigree Berkshire Pigs. Obviously originating from the County of Berkshire, these free-range pigs are left to roam and root around eating exactly what they want – all contributing to the outstanding flavours of the native breed.
The Berkshire pig has a higher-fat content so the bacon absorbs all that fabulous smoky flavour.
All of our bacon is traditionally dry cured for 21 days. Importantly it is then naturally Oak Smoked for around 14 hours. There are no colourings, water or chemicals added during our curing or smoking process. Above all, the quality of our bacon is down to time and traditional techniques polished over the years to produce amazing smoked bacon with a mouth-watering taste.
We slice and pack all our bacon on site and deliver in chilled, temperature controlled boxes for you to enjoy.
