Barbecue Pork Ribs

Barbecue Pork Ribs –  We all like food that is quick and easy to prepare and produces excellent results. These ribs from our outdoor-reared pigs are sure to impress with the slightly sticky sauce that has a hint of chilli.
For best results leave the ribs to marinate overnight in the refrigerator.

Cook time 50 minutes – Prep time 10 minutes+marinade overnight if possible.

Ingredients to make Barbecue Pork Ribs

1-1.3kg Pork Ribs
2 tbsp honey
4 tbsp tomato ketchup
3 tbsp light soy sauce
4 tbsp Worcester Sauce
2 chillies
2 cloves garlic
Pinch black pepper
1 tsp English mustard powder

Step 1
Mix all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

Step 2
Add the Pork Ribs and make sure they are covered with the marinade. Leave in the refrigerator overnight or leave at room temperature for an hour.

Step 3
Take 2 sheets foil-lift ribs out of the marinade and place in the centre. Wrap carefully so as not to puncture the foil. Cook in a preheated oven 180°C for 35 minutes.

Step 4
Take the parcel out of the oven and open out to form a dish-brush on the remaining marinade. Return to the oven for 20 minutes at 140°C or better still place on the barbecue until the marinade is all brushed on and the sauce has thickened on the ribs.

Step 5
Now the best bit-serve
